Our Recruitment Process
Core-Asset consultants are professionals in financial services recruitment. They are dedicated to providing a premium and 'client-driven' service to candidates. This is from the initial contact through to the successful offer stage.
We appreciate that having made the decision to consider a career move, candidates need to be confident that their consultants respect and understand all aspirations and experiences. As REC-accredited consultants, we are committed to treating all candidates in an ethical, professional and courteous manner.
Core-Asset appreciates that each potential applicant will have different requirements regarding their career aspirations and objectives. However, we try to maintain standard processes as much as possible regarding how the recruitment process is managed.
- We ask all applicants to provide us with a comprehensive copy of their CV
- An initial interview would be arranged to discuss career objectives and aspirations moving forward
- Role profiles will be provided for suitable vacancies within our client companies
- Once we have confirmed that you are happy to have your details submitted for a specific role we will forward your CV which has been formatted into our house style
- If your application is successful we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time to meet with our client
- We'll give a copy of our CV in our house style, interview tips, confirmation letter and details regarding the client company
- A meeting will then be arranged between you and your consultant to discuss the interview and content in more detail
- Once you have undertaken your interview you will be provided with feedback as soon as this is available
- Should you be required for an additional interview, this will be arranged and you will be supported through the process
- It is standard practice for most of our clients to interview at least twice. However, on occasion, there maybe the requirement for more than two interviews
- Should you be offered a position your consultant will undertake any negotiation for you and ensure that you receive as competitive a package as possible
- Contracts will then be issued by the client, references established and a mutually convenient start date will be arranged
- Your consultant will be your key point of contact through this complete process
